Some time ago I saw the IntSweMoDo 2010 group on Ravelry – International Sweater-a-Month Dodecathon. Or: making 12 adult-sized sweaters in one year.
The group is also active in 2011, and I have just decided that I need to join! I’m pretty sure I can make it. Especially since the queue of sweaters I want to make is growing, and I’ve got lots of yarn I am itching to use.
Isn’t that one heck of a knitting challenge for myself?
I actually already kind of made a head start. The garments counted are those which are finished within the year 2011, so those three sweaters that are in progress will actually count. Those are my Idlewood (the last one cast on), my Talamh and my Lavendula.

That last one has been in progress since the 31st of July, so it’s time I finish it! I’m not sure it will happen before the sun shows again, though.. The Idlewood will most probably be the first one done, as it gives a promise of warmth and coziness. Which is pretty perfect for the weather we’re having at the moment. With my ambitions, I’ll probably have two sweaters done already during January – but let’s see ;o)
Wish me luck!
Smiler held og lykke… du kan strikke et par af mine færdige også… hvis du kommer til at mangle projekter ;-)
