Rosewood

1-2-3-FO!

I needed a quick knit, and here we go:

It only took me 3 nights and a morning to knit it, blocking went by very fast, and I am very content with the result.

As always, I love blocking pics, it makes it all look so pretty!
The yarn is MadTosh Sock in the color Rosewood, which has very subtle color changes, as you can see here:

And a pre-blocking detail shot:

I made some mods, as I wasn’t sure I had enough yarn. So, I decided to leave out one lace repeat on each side of the center – and actually ended up making the lace repeat 13 sts all along, instead of the 15 stitch repeat in the middle of each side.
Turned out I had lots of yarn left, so it wasn’t really necessary to take those measures. Well, good to know for next time I guess!

Overall, the pattern was dead easy to do. I was almost able to knit it in my sleep ;o)
And I love the effect of the wavey stitch pattern combined with garter stitch and eyelet rows! Also, I love the color – it goes with really everything. Especially with my haircolor at the moment :o)
